Common Applications of Senko Bait
The Senko is one of the most versatile baits. Here are some common uses:
- Wacky Rig – Hooked through the middle for a wiggling fall; great around docks, laydowns, and shallow cover
- Weightless Texas Rig – Slow, horizontal flutter fall; ideal for open water and suspended fish
- Weighted Texas Rig – Bullet weight added to punch through heavy grass, timber, and rocks
- O-Ring Wacky Rig – Same as wacky rig but uses an O-ring to protect the bait and extend its life

5" Senko
This is the best soft stick bait EVER! It is so versatile: you can fish it weightless, Texas rigged, Wacky rigged, Neko and Ned rigged. They simply catch bass wherever I fish. I love the color options and have found the black color always catches bass. If I could only choose one bait to fish with, I would choose the 5" Senko.

iv'e been using them for years, .... i don't use any weight with them, they work so perfect without any. Bubble gum has been my favorite lately. awesome Bait.

Still the best!
When the bass aren't hitting anything else, the Yamamoto Senko saves the day. Just be sure to watch a video of "How to safely unhook a gut/gullet hooked bass". Also, try different colors for your particular fishing spots. Let water color dictate your choice.

Just a short note to praise the Senko baits. I’ve been fishing on and off for 65 years have used everything from worms to spinners to jigs and everything in between. Can easily say I’ve had my best and most consistent success with Senko. Won’t leave home (dock) without them

What can I say, the 5" Senko is the best all around bait in my boat! From Texas rigging, Wacky rigging, Shaky Head and just weightless.....this bait is just amazing! Wouldn't think of fishing anywhere / anytime without a Senko in my arsenal.
