4" Fat Ika 10pk

The Fat Ika is my new favorite bait! Great darting action and comes through heavy cover really well with EWG hook. Great weightless or on a jig head! First time out, I caught a bunch of largemouths on the blue pearl color. Green pumpkin also worked well. Do yourself a favor and try Fat Ika!

Love these.. Have dedicated rods just for these.. retail outlets no longer carry them and when they did, they flew off the shelves.

This is our go to bait when everything else stops working. Fat Ika became very hard to find in Canada. Most stores are out of stock. Please fix this!!

By far the best bait I’ve ever used. Works in any condition. I always end the day throwing the Ika !

If you’ve fished a while then you’ve fished a tube either cracking it if you’re a Zona fan, dragging it, finessing it if KVD fan, or flipping it still if Alton Jr fan. One prob usually-exposed hook. Sure you can get spec ewg hooks for them & fish around grass lines lite cover. Enter the fat ika, with solid body, peg it, & put it anywhere, gnarly cover, laydowns, rip-rap, etc. I consider it my tube/confidence bait when I want something they haven’t seen in a while esp spawn/post spawn when wanting a bulkier bait. Tentacles have good action, can rig multiple ways, usually TX, rig, swing head, rugby head all weedless. It’s Yamamoto so you don’t have to question the quality & consistency. One drawback is you don’t get but 3-4 fish out of 1 bait at times only one fish. I’m ok with that bc a couple of empty plastics bags at end of day equals a good time

Great in the spring , early and late spawn . I use them to pitch , unweighted into the thick brush . Again some of the old discontinued colors ( orange pumpkin green metal flak ) are great. I bought all could find on internet. New ones in green with dipped chartreuse tail . Odd, I use a heavy spinning rod with a fast tip 7.5 feet long , I can pitch it anyplace , hit on drop or when I first hop it. I would love to see a motor oil color with chartreuse tail, awsome

The Fat Ika is dynamite in a compact shape. You can texas-rig it from either end, and it works both ways essentially allowing you to change its look and action. I pair it with a 5/0 Gamakatsu G-Lock hook which is perfect for this bait. Threw a weightless Fat Ika at Kentucky Lake into thr yellow flowers along the shoreline with great success. Headed to Lake St. Clair on Monday to throw them at the smallmouth bass. The Fat Ika is one of my favorite baits because it works so well with very little effort. Just throw it and then set the hook.

I used a weightless Fat Ika with great success on smallmouth bass in Ontario several years ago. This summer I plan to use them at Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie, and Lake Champlain. One of the most fun baits I have ever used.
